Old Town Real Estate
Old Town History
In 1868 prospectors discovered silver in Old Town’s hills and the population exploded. Its heyday as a mining town was raucous and earned Old Town a reputation for its unbridled spirit. But when the mines ran dry, Old Town’s boom turned to bust, and as a result, it almost faded into history as a ghost town. But its prime location allowed Old Town to reinvent itself as a world-class ski town. Nestled between Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley, the area boasts unmatched natural beauty. Visiting Old Town has become a must when coming to Utah. By the same token, Old Town real estate is some of the most sought after in the area.
Old Town Living
Because of Old Town’s prime location, you’ll have easy access to Historic Main Street. Here you’ll find some of the areas best dining, shopping, and entertainment. With 200+ unique businesses you can spend the day at leisure. Shop at an independent boutique. Dine in a world-class restaurant. Or pamper yourself at one of Main Street’s restorative spas before a night on the town. Everything is a short walk and bustling with historical charm.
Old Town is also the epicenter of the film world during the acclaimed Sundance Film Festival. Each January the world’s entertainment elite converge here for a week of business and revelry. You might just find yourself dining next to your favorite actor. Or having drinks with a famous musician at your local watering hole.
Just outside Old Town, you’ll find some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes. Indeed, you’ll find breathtaking terrain and vistas almost everywhere you look. Summertime offers a range of outdoor activities for nature-lovers. And during ski season, Old Town provides direct access to Park City Mountain Resort.
